Our wallpaper removal process

  1. Free estimate. We check how the paper was hung and what's under it.
  2. Protect the room. Floors, trim and furniture get covered.
  3. Strip the paper. We score the paper and soften it with a steamer, removal solution or both, depending on the paper, then peel it off without gouging the wall.
  4. Remove the glue. Leftover adhesive is washed off. Paint won't stick to glue, so we don't skip this.
  5. Repair the walls. Torn drywall paper gets sealed, and dings and seams get patched and sanded.
  6. Prime and paint with Sherwin-Williams paint (or the brand you prefer).
  7. Clean-up and walk-through.
